Department of Geological Sciences Buildings
The SDSU Department of Geological Sciences
lives in four buildings located on the east side of the campus.
 
GMCS Building
Our faculty and teaching assistant offices, Allison Center, Map Room, Neotectonics Lab, Seismic Interpretation Lab, Supply Room, Computer Labs, Rock-Processing Facilities and some of our classrooms are located in the Geology/Mathematics/Computer Science (GMCS)
Many of our classrooms are now in the new Chemical Sciences Laboratory (CSL) building. The Contaminant Hydrogeology Lab, Plasma Lab and Visualization Lab are also located in CSL.

The Baylor Brooks Laboratory for Isotope Geology and some of our seismology labs are located in the Physical Sciences (PS) building.
We also have research labs in the Industrial Technology (IT) building. This includes our Quaternary Lab, Mineral Studies Lab, GEMS (Geophysics/ElectroMagnetics/Seismology) Lab, our Groundwater Lab, and the IC Clean Room.

Our faculty offices are located in the GMCS, PS, and IT, buildings.
