Given Darcy’s Law, Q = K A dh/dl, be able to calculate discharge when given hydraulic conductivity.  Be able to calculate hydraulic gradient (see above), and be able to recognize cross-sectional area (perpendicular to the direction of flow – just like in streams)

Given the form of Darcy’s Law, v = [K dh/dl]/porosity, be able to calculate water velocity from hydraulic conductivity, gradient and porosity.  From velocity, be able to calculate how long it will take to travel a given distance.
