Water Quality Principles SDSU will be hosting a Basin Analysis Short Course to be taught by Bob Stewart from ExxonMobil - Wednesday March 9th in CSL422

Bob Stewart, head of recruiting for ExxonMobil, has developed a 1 day short course that teaches students an introduction to basin analysis. The Department is excited to announce that we will be hosting this short course for the Pacific Section AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists). Students from SDSU and CSULB will be participating in this course to help them prepare for the 2011 IBA (Imperial Barrel Award). The course is open to and valuable for all students who want to learn more about the petroleum industry and want to have a better understanding of how the IBA works.

  • Date: March 9th, 2011
  • Time: starts at 10:00 - late Afternoon
  • Location: SDSU; Chemical Sciences Laboratory (CSL) room 422.
  • Attendance: Open to all students interested

The SDSU Student Chapter of AAPG will provide light breakfast snacks, coffee, drinks, as well as lunch.
